He settled on the Lower East Side of NYC and moved to Bushwick section of Brooklyn. He had relatives in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn. THey lived on Clermont Ave. There are many Vanasco's in Buenos Aires, Argentina as well. The family had a coat business in Brooklyn, that my grandfather owned.

Joseph Bruno	Bruno/Mosca	My g-grandfather Rosario Bruno, born abt. 1872, married Antonina Mosca, born 1885. They had 3 children: Mariano (1902) Santa (1903) and Rosa (1905). Left for America August 18, 1906 from Palermo on the Citta di Milano. Rosario had at least 2 brothers: Pietro and Francesco who also came to US around 1900. There is a family story about 3 brothers married 3 sisters--I think 3 Mosca brothers married 3 sisters and my g-grandmother was one of the children of the Mosca brothers.
