      Fortunata (Nettie) Aiena of Copiague died on April 11, 2002 at the age of 90. Mrs. Aiena, a former secretary for Met Life of New York, was a caring woman who devoted her life to her family, said her daughter Denise Pecora. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Assumption Children's Guild and her hobbies included cooking and spending time with her friends. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. Mrs. Aiena was predeceased by her husband, Peter. She is survived by her children Joseph, Frank, Peter, Richard and Audrey Aiena and Denise Pecora, as well as by her grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Brandon, Shauna, Nicholas and Christine Aiena, and Jessica and Anthony Pecora. Mrs. Aiena is also survived by her sister Nancy Miceli. Mrs. Aiena reposed at the D'Andrea Brothers Funeral Home, 99 Oak Street, Copiague. A funeral mass was said at Our Lady of the Assumption RC Church in Copiague on Tuesday, April 16 by the Reverend Camilo Lugo. Interment followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Pinelawn, NY.
