#73 Marriage of Antonino Fazzina and Giovanna Nobile November 24, 1897
1897, the 24th of November at the hour of 10am in the town hall of Pachino before Luigi Giardina, Mayor and official of the vital records office appeared Antonino Fazzina, single, 23, farmer, born in Floridia, resident of Pachino, son of Sebastiano and Maria Bosco, both of Pachino; and also appeared Giovanna Nobile, single, 23, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of Pachino, daughter of Salvatore and Carmela Occhipinti, both of Pachino and they have asked to be united in marriage. To this effect I have been presented the documents described below; the marriage banns were posted, and all documents inserted into the register of the attachments of this register, and with no opposition to the celebration of their marriage, I read to them the civil code and asked the groom if he takes for his wife Giovanna Nobile; and I asked the bride if she takes for her husband Antonino Fazzina, and having received their positive response, and before the witnesses listed below, I have pronounced them united in marriage. Witnesses to this testimony are Vincenzo Amenta, 33 and Salvatore Mallia, 22, both farmers. Banns were posted on the 24th and 31st of October.
