      1899, the 28«sup»th«/sup» of May at the hour of 11:30am in the town hall of Ragusa before Paolo Sortino, Mayor and official of the vital records office appeared Carmelo MInardi, single, 19, "piconiere", born in Ragusa, resident of same, son of Carmelo, "piconiere" and Sebastiana Iacono, both of Ragusa; and also appeared Salvatora Occhipinti, single, 19, housewife, born in Ragusa, resident of same, daughter of Francesco, a piconiere and Giovanna Guardino, both of Ragusa, and they have asked to be united in marriage.
