Notes - Jane Fuchs Wilson, age 91, died peacefully on November 3, 2018. Jane was a South Florida pioneer and longtime Coral Gables resident whose father started Fuchs Baking Company's "Holsum Bakery" of South Miami. Her dedicated service (65+ years) to the Coral Gables Garden Club resulted in many beautification projects around Coral Gables. She loved her family and spending time with them in the Gables and the Florida Keys. She also loved her friends and a good party and hosted many, but most famous was her New Year's Day Party. She was predeceased by her husband and Miami native, George Milton Wilson, to whom she was married for 52 years. She is survived by her children, Shelley Avirett, Brian Wilson, Donna Wilson and Richard Wilson; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will take place at Stanfill Funeral Home onSaturday, November 24 from 3-5 PM with a Memorial Service at 4PM. https://www.stanfillfh.com/tributes/Jane-Wilson
