1844, the 18th of January at the hour of 22 before Antonino Traina, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo appeared Pietro La Scala, 38, farmer of Misilmeri who presents a baby girl who he declares was born to Filippa Persicano, his wife, age 24, of Misilmeri, on the 17th of January at the hour of 14 in their home. They named the child Rosalia. She was baptized on the 18th of January in the church of Misilmeri. Witnesses are Giustino Vicari, 31, farmer and Castrenze Lo Franco, 33, farmer.

1843, the 19th of May at the hour of 1 in the night before Angelo Grimaldi, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo appeared Pietro La Scala, single, 22, born in Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, farmer, of Misilmeri, son of the late Dieco and the living Rosalia LoDico, age 51, of Misilmeri; and also appeared Filippa Persicano, single, 21, born in Misilmeri, resident of same, daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Casimira Cerniglia. They were married in the churchof Misilmeri on the 22nd of May. Banns were posted on the 30th of April 1843 in Misilmeri. Documents provided are the birth records of the bride and groom, the death records of the father and grandfather of the groom and the father, mother and grandfather of the bride. Witnesses are Bartolomeo Militano, 32, shoemaker, Giovanni Di Pisa, 55, farmer, Santo Bonanno, 63, farmer and Francesco Carlino, 27, farmer, all of Misilmeri.

They were married Oct 2, 1864 in the church of Misilmeri. Banns were posted on September 4 in Misilmeri. Documents provided are the birth records of the bride and groom and the banns. Witnesses are Francesco Costantino, 40, farmer, Giuseppe Pellegrino, 37, farmer, Giuseppe Balletta, 47, farmer and Giusto Tantillo, 40, farmer, all of Misilmeri.
