1847, the 23rd of December at the hour of 22 before Antonino Traina, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, appeared Gaetano La Barbara, 30, farmer of Misilmeri who presents a baby girl who he declares was born to Caterina La Scala, his wife, age 26, and himself on the 22nd of December at the hour of 13 in their home. They named the child Angela. She was baptized on the 23rd of December in the church of Misilmeri. Witnesses are Antonino Lipari, 50, farmer and Francesco Di Spezio, 60, farmer.

1834, the 19th of December at the hour of 23 before Angelo Grimaldi, Mayor and official of the vital records office of Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, appeared Gaetano Barbari, single, 26, born in Misilmeri, Palermo, Palermo, farmer, resident of Misilmeri, son of Ignazio, age 50, a farmer of Misilmeri and Angela Schimmenti, age 42, of Misilmeri; and also appeared Caterina LaScala, single, 20, born in Misilmeri, resident of Misilmeri, daughter of Giusto, age 56, a farmer and Giuseppa Scozzaro, 48, both of Misilmeri. They were married on December 19, 1834. Banns were posted on November 30th in Misilmeri. Documents provided are the birth records of the bride and groom, and the banns. Witnesses are Francesco Dell'Orto, 440, farmer, Antonino Siena, 24, farmer, Giuseppe Orlando, 24, farmer and Filippo Correnti, 23, farmer, all of Misilmeri.

1870, the 29th of December at the hour of 12 noon in the town hall of Misilmeri, before Pietro Gucciardo, official of the vital records office of Misilmeri and in the presence of Giuseppe Ardizzone, son of the late Carlo, 51, and Stefano Correnti, son of the late Vincenzo, age 60, farmers, appeared Diego La Scala, son of Pietro and Filippa Cersciana, born and resident of this town, unmarried; and also appeared Angela La Barbara, daughter of Gaetano and Caterina La Scala, single and born and resident of this town. And they intend to be united in marriage. The marriage banns were posted and there was no opposition. They were read the civil codes 130, 131 and 132 and having their mutual consent, they were united in marriage and pronounced husband and wife.
