A 53 year resident of Center Moriches Edward was a retired music teacher after 31 years in the William Floyd School District. He was in community bands locally and in Greenport and Sag Harbor. The founder of Pinto pools in East Moriches, Edward leaves behind his beloved wife Shirley, loving children Melisse, Edward Jr., Sabrina, dear brother Jack and cherished grandchildren Krystina, Thomas, Annalise, Sara, Emilia, Elaina and Sofia. Visiting was held on Tuesday 3/31/2015 and Wednesday 4/1/2015. A mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Johns RCC on Thursday April 2, 2015 at 10am. Mr. Pinto was laid to rest in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches. Family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a favorite charity or the pancreatic and/or cancer society.
